Why toys for the light?

Why toys for the light?

I decided to start a company that makes toys and entertainment for children after months of prayer and fasting, asking God to show me His will for my life. The story went as follows.

I was looking for toys and books and general entertainment for my children that would teach them about God. I was dissatisfied with the selection but thought nothing of it. One night with the thought of teaching my children either how to design with CAD or at least that the things they imagined don't have to stay as a fantasy, I asked my children what toy from their imagination would they want to see become reality. My eldest son wasn't interested and decided to work on some video game he was programming. My daughter was too young to comprehend and said she didn't know. My middle son said "Dad, I want to make toys that teach children about God" to which I replied "Son, that's exactly what we are going to do" and that night we started talking about toy and game ideas. That was over a year ago. Today we are at the point where launching the business is almost a reality. I'm trying to use the skill set God has blessed me with to keep costs at a manageable level. So far I have purchased all the equipment second-hand and in need of repairs. Being an industrial mechanic in the plastics industry, making repairs to equipment is second nature to me. The first thing I bought was a broken forklift. I got it running and used it to install my WW2-era lathe and mill which I made repairs to and am using to make the parts needed to turn a giant milling machine into a CNC mill. The CNC machine will be used for making the molds to make the toys in an injection molding machine I bought. Slowly this is coming together. I don't have the money to pay people to make molds for me, but I do have the skills to build machines and the tenacity to learn what I'm missing to make this happen for my God.
